A dream, and how I went about looking into its interpretation. Un sueño, y cómo fui buscando su interpretación.
The Dream
I was walking up the steps of a glass house. No furniture, walls were made of glass, and on the other side I could see a very clear sky. I knew it was my house. The steps were glass too. As I ascended, I saw a window, which is strange, because how do you know something is a window when everything is glass? It was a dream, so I knew it was a window.
Through it I saw a woman taking a shower. Her building was an apartment block, the kind where the only window you see is the one facing yours. She wasn't washing herself, there was no soap. She was just rinsing, letting the water soak her face and run down her body. She had long, dark, curly hair. She wore a bikini top, and below it something like a neoprene surfing suit, opened at the top and closed at the bottom, so I could only see her upper half. She was enjoying the water. There were two more showers beside hers with other women in them, three showers in total, but my eyes were focused on her.
I felt ashamed. In the dream I thought, "I'm looking at the neighbour," and turned my face to the right. Immediately I saw big screens, five or six televisions standing vertically, inside my glass house, showing all kinds of pornography. I got very scared because they were in my house, and I was hooked by the imagery. Most of it wasn't explicit, skin, arms, bare chests, rapid shots, but I could tell it was people having intercourse, and I understood that there was something inside my house that needed to go out. Then I woke up.
Why God Hides Things
Proverbs 25:2 says:
It is the glory of God to conceal a matter, but the glory of kings is to search out a matter.
God speaks to us in hidden messages, and dreams are one of them. I didn't know how to interpret dreams, so I went online and listened to Christian preachers and mystics. A mystic is someone with experience unveiling the mysteries of God. They all said the same thing: record what you dreamed, analyse each word, and let the Holy Spirit guide you. That's what I did.
I knew the glass house was myself. And there was some sort of sin or curse going on, because there was pornography inside. It was very strange because, as I was ascending the steps, the house was completely empty, and it was all made out of glass, so I could see everything. Those screens were not there. So it was kind of like it was a hidden sin, maybe. I started repenting, and I asked the Holy Spirit, "Is this me?" The answer was, "No, it is not you, but there is a curse."
The Window
I began with the word "window." I typed it into my Strong's Concordance Bible app (iPhone, Android), and the Holy Spirit guided me to the result in Proverbs 7:6:
For at the window of my house I looked through my casement.
I kept reading. Verse 10:
And, behold, there met him a woman with the attire of an harlot, and subtil of heart.
Verse 13:
So she caught him, and kissed him.
Verse 18:
Come, let us take our fill of love until the morning: let us solace ourselves with loves.
The young man is convinced and goes with her, and then verse 26:
For she hath cast down many wounded: yea, many strong men have been slain by her.
Wounded
The Holy Spirit told me to focus on the word "wounded." I typed it into the concordance, and it took me to Deuteronomy 23:1:
He that is wounded in the stones, or hath his privy member cut off, shall not enter into the congregation of the LORD.
I asked the Holy Spirit: if this is not me, what is it talking about? And the Holy Spirit said: There is a curse in your stones and member. This is something your ancestors did. The demons of this world have access to you because of the demonic covenant your forefathers made.
So I prayed and broke that curse. I claimed the blood of Jesus over the covenants my ancestors had made with demons, and I claimed Colossians 2:14:
Having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Immediately I saw in my mind's eye fire burning those screens completely.
Three Showers
The first part of the dream took me longer. I didn't know where to begin until I was reminded of the story of Joseph interpreting the dreams of the chief butler and the chief baker. Genesis 40:10:
And in the vine were three branches.
Verse 12:
The three branches are three days.
Verse 16, the chief baker:
I had three white baskets on my head.
Verse 18:
The three baskets are three days.
In both, when three things are repeated, it is a measure of time. The Holy Spirit confirmed to me that the three showers were three days.
The Woman
Out of the three showers, I was only focused on one woman, and I wondered who she was. She was not my wife, she was nobody I knew. So where in the Bible is a woman mentioned, and what does she represent? The Holy Spirit guided me to remember the woman in Revelation 12:1-2:
Now a great sign appeared in heaven: a woman clothed with the sun, with the moon under her feet, and on her head a garland of twelve stars. Then being with child, she cried out in labor and in pain to give birth.
That woman is Israel, I knew that. Everyone who believes in Jesus Christ is Israel too. The more I thought about the shower, the more I understood it didn't make sense to shower in a swimsuit, so this shower had to be referencing something else. It reminded me of an outdoor shower at the beach used to remove the sand. Then it hit me: SAND. The water was just removing the sand from her. Almost as if God was saying, "In three days, Israel will be washed from the sand."
Rosh Hashanah
In exactly three days it will be the end of Rosh Hashanah, the Jewish New Year. It means "head of the year," and it opens the Ten Days of Repentance that end with Yom Kippur, the Day of Atonement. Families gather for meals and symbolic foods, especially apples dipped in honey, the hope for a sweet year.
It is the day marked by the sound of trumpets: wake up spiritually, examine your life, return to God, and enter the new year with repentance and hope.
So what God is saying is that he is clearing the sand off his beloved people, at the beginning of the Hebrew New Year, at the end of Rosh Hashanah.
I looked up the word "sand" in the concordance. It took me to Genesis 22:17-18:
That in blessing I will bless thee, and in multiplying I will multiply thy seed as the stars of the heaven, and as the sand which is upon the sea shore; and thy seed shall possess the gate of his enemies; and in thy seed shall all the nations of the earth be blessed; because thou hast obeyed my voice.
As I was thinking about the sand, the Holy Spirit reminded me to read the verse again and actually pay attention to it. God is saying that Israel is going to be like the stars of heaven, which are eternal and magnificent, and at the same time like the sand upon the seashore, which is fragile and easily moved. So one can wonder: what does God mean by that? Is it like a star or is it like the sand? Well, it's both.
So perhaps what God is saying in this dream is that He is removing the sand-like quality so that His children can become like the stars of heaven. The woman was so happy while she was showering, and there was such peace in it, that I don't think my dream was negative at all. In fact, I know it wasn't.
What does that mean for us, who do not live in Israel? I think what it means is that God is raising up people in His body and is removing the sand that has been irritating them so that they can access the heavenly realm.
Cancelling the Covenants
One of the things the Holy Spirit said was a lot of the infertility of our times comes from covenants made in the past. Many people suffer from infertility, incontinence, cancer and impotence, and it is not only a medical thing. It is also a spiritual problem, because their forefathers made pacts with demons, witchcraft or curses, and it became the consequence of those pacts.
Men and women alike suffer from infertility. We see how hard it has become to conceive compared to 20 years ago. We blame it on: chemicals in our food, shampoos, oils, body creams, makeup, detergents, etc. Perhaps there's some truth to that, but I also believe it could be related to curses in our bloodline. It is impossible to know everything our ancestors did, especially four generations back. There is no way to know if they signed or decreed curses over their lives and their descendants, knowingly or unknowingly. However, we do know we can cancel these curses by claiming the blood of Jesus over those demonic legal contracts.
Because Jesus already took up our infirmities and nailed them to the cross, and by his blood we are healed, we can ask the Heavenly Father to:
- destroy and annul the curses our ancestors made against us
- cover them with the blood of Jesus
- decree that they are no longer valid in our lives
And we can repent on behalf of our ancestors for any pact they made that is affecting us today. We know in Jesus we have forgiveness of sins and eternal salvation. Because no one comes to the Father except through him. The best thing we can do is accept his help and ask Jesus to save us. Without Jesus we have no access to the Heavenly Father, nor to the Holy Spirit, and it is very hard to live without God's guidance.
Proverbs 14:12:
There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Psalm 37:5 and Proverbs 3:6:
Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
El Sueño
Iba subiendo las escaleras de una casa de cristal. Sin muebles, las paredes eran de cristal, y al otro lado se veía un cielo muy despejado. Sabía que era mi casa. Las escaleras también eran de cristal. Mientras subía, vi una ventana, y es raro, porque ¿cómo sabes que algo es una ventana cuando todo es cristal? Era un sueño, así que sabía que era una ventana.
A través de ella vi a una mujer duchándose. Su edificio era un bloque de apartamentos, de esos en los que la única ventana que ves es la que da a la tuya. No se estaba lavando, no había jabón. Solo se enjuagaba, dejando que el agua le empapara la cara y le corriera por el cuerpo. Tenía el pelo largo, oscuro y rizado. Llevaba la parte de arriba de un bikini y, debajo, algo parecido a un traje de neopreno de surf, abierto por arriba y cerrado por abajo, así que solo le veía la mitad superior. Estaba disfrutando del agua. Había dos duchas más al lado de la suya con otras mujeres, tres duchas en total, pero mis ojos estaban enfocados en ella.
Sentí vergüenza. En el sueño pensé: "Estoy mirando a la vecina", y giré la cara hacia la derecha. De inmediato vi unas pantallas grandes, cinco o seis televisores puestos en vertical, dentro de mi casa de cristal, mostrando todo tipo de pornografía. Me asusté mucho porque estaban en mi casa, y me quedé enganchado a las imágenes. La mayoría no era explícito, piel, brazos, pechos desnudos, planos rápidos, pero se notaba que era gente teniendo relaciones, y entendí que había algo dentro de mi casa que tenía que salir. Entonces me desperté.
Por Qué Dios Esconde las Cosas
Proverbios 25:2 dice:
Gloria de Dios es encubrir un asunto; pero honra del rey es escudriñarlo.
Dios nos habla en mensajes escondidos, y los sueños son uno de ellos. Yo no sabía interpretar sueños, así que me fui a internet y escuché a predicadores y místicos cristianos. Un místico es alguien con experiencia en desvelar los misterios de Dios. Todos decían lo mismo: anota lo que soñaste, analiza cada palabra y deja que el Espíritu Santo te guíe. Eso hice.
Sabía que la casa de cristal era yo mismo. Y había algún tipo de pecado o maldición, porque había pornografía dentro. Era muy extraño porque, mientras subía las escaleras, la casa estaba completamente vacía, y toda era de cristal, así que podía verlo todo. Esas pantallas no estaban. Así que era como un pecado escondido, quizá. Empecé a arrepentirme, y le pregunté al Espíritu Santo: "¿Soy yo?". La respuesta fue: "No, no eres tú, pero hay una maldición".
La Ventana
Empecé por la palabra "ventana". La escribí en mi aplicación bíblica de la Concordancia Strong (iPhone, Android), y el Espíritu Santo me guió al resultado de Proverbios 7:6:
Porque mirando yo por la ventana de mi casa, por mi celosía.
Seguí leyendo. Versículo 10:
Cuando he aquí, una mujer le sale al encuentro, con atavío de ramera y astuta de corazón.
Versículo 13:
Se asió de él, y le besó.
Versículo 18:
Ven, embriaguémonos de amores hasta la mañana; alegrémonos en amores.
El joven se deja convencer y se va con ella, y entonces el versículo 26:
Porque a muchos ha hecho caer heridos, y aun los más fuertes han sido muertos por ella.
Heridos
El Espíritu Santo me dijo que me fijara en la palabra "heridos" (yo busqué la palabra en inglés, así que la palabra real fue "wounded"). La escribí en la concordancia, y me llevó a Deuteronomio 23:1:
No entrará en la congregación de Jehová el que tenga magullados los testículos, o amputado su miembro viril.
Le pregunté al Espíritu Santo: si esto no soy yo, ¿de qué está hablando? Y el Espíritu Santo dijo: Hay una maldición en tus testículos y en tu miembro. Es algo que hicieron tus antepasados. Los demonios de este mundo tienen acceso a ti por el pacto demoníaco que hicieron tus antepasados.
Así que oré y rompí esa maldición. Reclamé la sangre de Jesús sobre los pactos que mis antepasados habían hecho con demonios, y reclamé Colosenses 2:14:
Anulando el acta de los decretos que había contra nosotros, que nos era contraria, quitándola de en medio y clavándola en la cruz.
De inmediato vi, con los ojos de la mente, fuego quemando esas pantallas por completo.
Tres Duchas
La primera parte del sueño me costó más. No sabía por dónde empezar hasta que me vino a la memoria la historia de José interpretando los sueños del jefe de los coperos y del jefe de los panaderos. Génesis 40:10:
Y en la vid tres sarmientos.
Versículo 12:
Los tres sarmientos son tres días.
Versículo 16, el jefe de los panaderos:
También yo soñé que veía tres canastillos blancos sobre mi cabeza.
Versículo 18:
Los tres canastillos son tres días.
En los dos, cuando tres cosas se repiten, es una medida de tiempo. El Espíritu Santo me confirmó que las tres duchas eran tres días.
La Mujer
De las tres duchas, yo solo estaba enfocado en una mujer, y me preguntaba quién era. No era mi esposa, no era nadie que yo conociera. Entonces, ¿dónde se menciona a una mujer en la Biblia, y qué representa? El Espíritu Santo me guió a recordar a la mujer de Apocalipsis 12:1-2:
Apareció en el cielo una gran señal: una mujer vestida del sol, con la luna debajo de sus pies, y sobre su cabeza una corona de doce estrellas. Y estando encinta, clamaba con dolores de parto, en la angustia del alumbramiento.
Esa mujer es Israel, eso lo sabía. Todo el que cree en Jesucristo también es Israel. Cuanto más pensaba en la ducha, más entendía que no tenía sentido ducharse en bañador, así que esa ducha tenía que referirse a otra cosa. Me recordó a una ducha al aire libre de la playa, de las que se usan para quitarse la arena. Y entonces lo vi: ARENA. El agua solo le estaba quitando la arena. Casi como si Dios dijera: "En tres días, Israel será lavada de la arena".
Rosh Hashaná
En exactamente tres días será el final de Rosh Hashaná, el Año Nuevo judío. Significa "cabeza del año", y abre los Diez Días de Arrepentimiento que terminan con Yom Kipur, el Día de la Expiación. Las familias se reúnen para comer y compartir alimentos simbólicos, sobre todo manzanas mojadas en miel, la esperanza de un año dulce.
Es el día marcado por el sonido de las trompetas: despierta espiritualmente, examina tu vida, vuelve a Dios y entra en el año nuevo con arrepentimiento y esperanza.
Así que lo que Dios está diciendo es que está quitando la arena de su pueblo amado, al comienzo del Año Nuevo hebreo, al final de Rosh Hashaná.
Busqué la palabra "arena" en la concordancia. Me llevó a Génesis 22:17-18:
De cierto te bendeciré, y multiplicaré tu descendencia como las estrellas del cielo y como la arena que está a la orilla del mar; y tu descendencia poseerá las puertas de sus enemigos. En tu simiente serán benditas todas las naciones de la tierra, por cuanto obedeciste a mi voz.
Mientras pensaba en la arena, el Espíritu Santo me recordó que volviera a leer el versículo y que le prestara atención de verdad. Dios está diciendo que Israel va a ser como las estrellas del cielo, que son eternas y magníficas, y al mismo tiempo como la arena a la orilla del mar, que es frágil y se mueve con facilidad. Uno puede preguntarse: ¿qué quiere decir Dios con eso? ¿Es como una estrella o es como la arena? Pues las dos cosas.
Así que quizá lo que Dios está diciendo en este sueño es que está quitando esa cualidad de arena para que sus hijos puedan ser como las estrellas del cielo. La mujer estaba tan feliz mientras se duchaba, y había tanta paz en ello, que no creo que mi sueño fuera negativo en absoluto. De hecho, sé que no lo era.
¿Qué significa eso para nosotros, que no vivimos en Israel? Creo que significa que Dios está levantando a personas en su cuerpo y les está quitando la arena que las ha estado irritando, para que puedan acceder al reino celestial.
Anular los Pactos
Una de las cosas que dijo el Espíritu Santo fue que mucha de la infertilidad de nuestros tiempos viene de pactos hechos en el pasado. Muchas personas sufren infertilidad, incontinencia, cáncer e impotencia, y no es solo algo médico. Es también un problema espiritual, porque sus antepasados hicieron pactos con demonios, brujería o maldiciones, y esa fue la consecuencia de esos pactos.
Hombres y mujeres por igual sufren infertilidad. Vemos lo difícil que se ha vuelto concebir en comparación con hace 20 años. Le echamos la culpa a los químicos en la comida, los champús, los aceites, las cremas, el maquillaje, los detergentes, etc. Quizá haya algo de verdad en eso, pero también creo que podría estar relacionado con maldiciones en nuestra línea de sangre. Es imposible saber todo lo que hicieron nuestros antepasados, sobre todo cuatro generaciones atrás. No hay manera de saber si firmaron o decretaron maldiciones sobre sus vidas y sus descendientes, consciente o inconscientemente. Sin embargo, sí sabemos que podemos anular esas maldiciones reclamando la sangre de Jesús sobre esos contratos legales demoníacos.
Porque Jesús ya cargó con nuestras enfermedades y las clavó en la cruz, y por su sangre somos sanados, podemos pedirle al Padre celestial que:
- destruya y anule las maldiciones de nuestros antepasados contra nosotros
- las cubra con la sangre de Jesús
- decrete que ya no son válidas en nuestras vidas
Y podemos arrepentirnos en nombre de nuestros antepasados por cualquier pacto que hicieron y que nos está afectando en la actualidad. Sabemos que en Jesús tenemos perdón de pecados y salvación eterna. Porque nadie viene al Padre si no es por él. Lo mejor que podemos hacer es aceptar su ayuda y pedirle a Jesús que nos salve. Sin Jesús no tenemos acceso al Padre celestial, ni tampoco al Espíritu Santo, y es muy difícil vivir sin la guía de Dios.
Proverbios 14:12:
Hay camino que al hombre le parece derecho; pero su fin es camino de muerte.
Salmo 37:5 y Proverbios 3:6:
Encomienda a Jehová tu camino, y confía en él; y él hará. Reconócelo en todos tus caminos, y él enderezará tus veredas.
