If the Rain Came Back Si volviera la lluvia
A door closes.
The oil runs out.
In this drought no one feels it any more.
Without bread, there are no dreams.
There is no hope either.
The serpent wraps around me, and holds me.
If the rain came back, I would be reborn.
Promises written made to be broken
Will you stop believing when the shadow comes?
In this city there is nothing to eat.
How easy it is to stop fighting.
Dry earth will not let me dream.
When will the rain come down again?
When will the apple be ripe to eat?
If the rain came back, I would be reborn.
Promises written made to be broken
Will you stop believing when the shadow comes?
In this city there is nothing to eat.
Se cierra una puerta.
Se acaba el aceite.
En esta sequía ya nadie lo siente.
Sin pan, no hay sueños.
Ni tampoco esperanza.
La inacción me envuelve, me abraza.
Si volviera la lluvia, empezaría a renacer.
Promesas vendidas que sean de romper
Dado su sombra, dejará de creer.
En este lugar nunca hay que comer.
¿Qué fácil es dejar de luchar?
Tierra seca no me deja soñar.
